Modern Slavery

Telford & Wrekin alongside our partners is proud to support Anti-Slavery Awareness week, shining a light on the hidden crime of Modern Slavery.

Modern slavery is the exploitation of people for personal, financial, or commercial gain, often through coercion, deception, or control. It can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, or background.

Anti-slavery awareness week is an opportunity for our community to come together, raise awareness and learn how we can all play a role in preventing exploitation and supporting survivors. Throughout the week we will be hosting a series of events including a public information session, training workshops for professionals and general community awareness across the borough. Together, we stand against modern slavery and make Telford & Wrekin a safer place for everyone.
