Booking, charging and cancellation information

Booking

In order to attend one of the training courses provided by TWSP, you need to register for an Online Learning Interactive Environment (Ollie) account. If you do not have an existing Ollie account, you should complete an account request form. Please note that you will be unable to book onto any of the TWSP courses if you do not have an Ollie account. There are two different account request forms: one for professionals and one for volunteers. Please ensure that you complete the correct form, as it could take a little longer to process your application if further information is required.

Once your Ollie account has been set up, login details will be sent to your email address by the Ollie team. This is not an automated process, but they aim to respond to requests within five days. Your account will last for 12 months from activation, but if you require further access once the 12 months have expired, please contact the Ollie team by email ollie@telford.gov.uk to request an extension to your account.

Schools in Telford and Wrekin

If you work for a Telford and Wrekin school and want to access training, please use the Ollie account that has already been set up for you. If you have problems accessing Ollie, please log a call through the ICT Self Service, and the Ollie team will be able to assist you. All permanent staff who work in schools will have an Ollie account created once they have been assigned an employee number. If a member of staff is employed on a casual or temporary contract, please complete this account request form and attach it to a logged call with the ICT Service Desk.

Charging

Please note the Exploitation and Vulnerability training is free for all organisations.  The Raising Awareness of Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding Awareness courses are free for organisations that contribute to the TWSP, local authority maintained schools and volunteers. There is a reduced rate of £20 per person for other organisations. Cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellation

Demand for TWSP training courses is high and places are limited, meaning that not everyone will be able to attend a course on their preferred date. If you have booked a place on one of the TWSP training courses and are subsequently unable to attend, we require a minimum of five working days notice of any cancellation, so that the place can be offered to someone on our waiting list. Where a cancellation is not received within this five day period or there is no attendance at the training course without prior notification, the employing agency will be invoiced for the full training fee. This cancellation fee applies to all organisations, including contributing partners.

Further information can be found in our charging and cancellation policy.
